Field Sales Account Executive - Westhoek

Own the market. Grow our footprint. Build the future of hospitality.

Lightspeed is expanding. With a strong and fast-growing customer base across Belgium, we are now focused on strengthening our presence in the Westhoek region — an area filled with established restaurants, family-run businesses, coastal hospitality concepts, and fast-growing local entrepreneurs.

To support this growth, we are looking for a Field Account Executive who can own this territory, accelerate our footprint, win market share, and build long-lasting relationships with restaurateurs.

If you’re the kind of salesperson who loves being out on the road, meeting customers, building trust, closing deals, and seeing your impact directly reflected in growth — this is your role.

***Note that this role is based in Belgium - focussed on the hospitality market in the Westhoek***

Your responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end sales: Identify, approach, pitch, and convert new restaurant prospects — from cold outreach or walk-ins to closing the deal.
  • Prospect intelligently: Build and maintain a strong self-sourced pipeline. You don’t wait for leads — you create them.
  • Understand restaurateurs’ needs and translate them into tailored Lightspeed solutions that help their business thrive.
  • Represent Lightspeed in the Westhoek, owning your territory and strengthening our brand across towns, villages, and coastal hospitality hubs.
  • Collaborate internally to ensure a smooth, high-quality handover to onboarding and support teams.
  • Use Salesforce (or another CRM) to manage your activities, pipeline, and results.
  • Position Lightspeed competitively by understanding the unique hospitality landscape of the Westhoek.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Fluent Dutch — essential for success in the Westhoek; French is a plus for cross-border or coastal customers.
  • Strong customer-facing sales experience (prospecting + closing), ideally in hospitality tech, SaaS, or a similar industry.
  • Comfortable being in the field daily, meeting owners, managers, and decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at all levels.
  • A track record of beating targets and taking ownership of your results.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-moving, scaling environment.
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset with the flexibility to adapt.
  • Technical confidence; Salesforce experience is a plus.
