The Support Team is seeking a customer service-oriented individual to provide full-time technical assistance for our Point of Sale products. This position is for an experienced computer user with a strong background in customer service in a technical support role.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide excellent technical support and customer service for all Lightspeed products over the phone, Slack and via e-mail support tickets
  • Utilize consistent troubleshooting techniques to quickly and efficiently identify the source of customer issues and provide a prompt and appropriate solution
  • Document and track customer issues and resolutions
  • Follow documented escalation procedures as required
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of troubleshooting, testing procedures, and documentation for technical support staff
    Document software defects for review and corrective action

And a little bit of....

  • Communicate with staff members regarding current and ongoing customer and product issues
  • Handle miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as defined by management


What you need to bring

  • The support team is made up of foodies, musicians and expert troubleshooters.   • Customer service experience in a technical support role
  • Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on customer service
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, Mac OS X and iOS
  • Understanding of basic computer networking
  • Proven software and hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Open availability; able to work weekends (once a month)


Even better if you have

  • Retail experience
  • Experience with HTML and/or CSS
  • Familiarity with web hosting services
  • French written and verbal communication skills
  • Networking knowledge
