Our IT Support Team is responsible for providing all employees with the hardware and software they need to perform the best work of their lives, assisting folks throughout the organization with any technical support issues or questions they may have.
We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist I to join our global Lightspeed team in Yerevan.
As part of our Worldwide IT Support crew, you’ll play a key role in supporting all Ecwid by Lightspeed employees, both in-office and remote.
Experience & Skills:
- You have an Associate’s degree in IT or hold industry-standard certs like A+ or Network+.
- You’re comfortable navigating and troubleshooting across Apple (macOS/iPadOS) and PC (Windows) environments.
- You’re early in your IT career, with 1 year of hands-on experience in a support capacity.
- Strong problem-solving acumen.
- Ownership mindset
- Warm and grounded communication skills in Armenian (fluent), English (professional working proficiency), and Russian (intermediate proficiency). You are able to describe IT concepts to users without using technical language.
- Customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work and contribute as part of a globally-distributed team.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users virtually or in person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications.
- Assist users with password resets, account setups, and basic system configurations.
- Log and track support requests in a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Educate end-users on IT best practices and provide basic training as needed.
- Partner with Level 2 and 3 teammates as well as other IT teams to escalate issues.
- Ensure office conferencing rooms are functional and organized.
- Send and receive hardware shipments for remote users.
- Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.
- Assist with routine IT maintenance tasks.
